Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Smile2Wow operates.

Treatments, payments, invoiceing and missed appointments

• Appointments not canceled 5 hours in advance will be billed at R500.00. This is over and above the monthly fee as it is unlikely that the specific appointment slot will be filled.
• If in the unlikely event one of the braces come loose it should be brought with, to the practice to be re-attached. If it is lost or not brought with, to the appointment a charge of R150.00 per brace will be due on the day of replacement before the replacement is done.
• Missing or broken retainers will be charged according to the type of retainer.
• Treatment: to assist patients, we do not charge the full amount of treatment on the first day.
  • Only the deposit is due on the day that the braces get attached (bonding).
  • Thereafter, on a monthly basis, the interest free, ‘monthly fee’ is due. starting the month following the bonding.
  • If paid in cash (cash, card or EFT) the amount is due by the 27th of each month.
  • If on medical aid the amount will be billed during the course of the specific month and might not coincide with the appointment.
  • The monthly amount is NOT linked to the monthly appointment but rather to the overall treatment and is billed regardless if the patient is seen in that month.
    There is no additional fees added for the monthly payment but is rather a service that we have extended to our patients to alleviate the cost of treatment.
